Gab & Heather
The most meaningful realization we always have to come when couples who are already living peacefully, more likely comfortably, overseas, still choose to go the distance to come home and get married here, is: there is no substitute to motherland, family, relatives, and the closest friends.
Gab & Heather have been married and both living in the US for a while, but both still chose to have the company of people dear to them to stand as witness to their union.
It was a beautiful sunset reception that, once again, proves that prayers to Sta. Clara for a clara (fair weather) still work magic despite an 80% chance of rain per forecast.
Deep Ilocano roots are lustrously reflected in their choice of menu, as follows:
Ilocos Norte Longanisa Pizza
Lechon Baka in Taco Wrap
Fresh Lemon and Mint Cooler
Chicken Tinola Ravioli with Saffron
Lengua con Setas
Gourmet Bagnet, on carving station
Grilled Spanish Mackerel with Ilocano Relish
Seafood Fried Noodles
Tiramisu in shot glasses
Palatiput Fondue with the following for dipping:
buñuelos, bananas, kamote
Filipino sweets and pastries
And with a wedding reception program that’s more simple and quiet than the usual, guests and couple are more relaxed to intimately enjoy splendid dinner in our surreal Sitio Remedios, made even more dreamlike by the styling of Ava’s Cakes by Kit Mandac.
Cheers to yummy and blissful marriage, Gab and Heather!
